FCAAI 45-And-Up: GAA, Chiang Kai Shek triumph

Grace Alumni Association turned back St. Jude College, 74-66, behind Alexander Lao’s double-double performance in the Fil-Chinese Athletic Association 45-and-Up basketball tournament held just recently at the SGS Gym in Quezon City.

Lao came away with impressive numbers of 11 points and 11 rebounds while making all but one of his six attempts from the field to power GAA.

Offensively, it was Cloyd Ong, who took the scoring cudgels for GAA with 15 markers, all of them coming from beyond the arc.

Johaness Go hit four triples while Dexter Quan added 12 markers as GAA converted 10 three-point shots.

Two other players wound up in double figures in different departments as Albert Chua dished out 13 assists and Alvin Lim grabbed 11 rebounds for GAA.

Also winning was Chiang  Kai Shek, which outplayed Philippine Cultural College, 60-49, as Herbert del Mundo proved to be unstoppable, tallying 24 points and six rebounds.
