Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) officially announces the nominees for the upcoming Alamat Awards, which will honor the legendary individuals in the MLBB esports scene, including players and coaches, and their epic performances in the league’s 15th iteration. The ceremony will take place on 30 May 2025 at Green Sun Hotel, Makati.
Lee Viloria, Head of PH Esports Business Development and Partnerships at MOONTON Games, said, “On its 15th Season, MPL Philippines aims to honor the excellent individuals who have shown legendary and unparalleled skill, dedication, and sportsmanship. As we move forward into a new chapter and milestone of competitive excellence, we want to recognize not only past performances but also the rising stars and game-changing moments that shape the future of the MLBB esports scene in the Philippines.”
Recognizing the legendary individuals with epic performances
Regular Season Most Valuable Player (MVP) nominees are Team Liquid Philippines’ (TLPH) Kiel Calvin “Oheb” Soriano, Aurora Gaming’s (RORA) Jan Dominic “Domengkite” Del Mundo IV, ONIC Philippines’ (ONIC) Grant Duane “Kelra” Pillas, TLPH’s Karl Gabriel “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, and ONIC’s Frince Miguel “Super Frince” Ramirez. In Season 13 and 14, the Regular Season MVPs were Marco Stephen “SUPER MARCO” Requitiano and King Cyric “Kingkong” Perez, respectively.
On the other hand, the nominees for Infinix Most Improved Player of the Season are TLPH’s Oheb, RORA’s Renejay “Renejay” Barcase, TNC Pro Team’s (TNC) Mark Justine “Zaida” Palma, TNC’s Lance “LanceCy” Cunanan, ONIC’s Super Frince, and TLPH’s Jay Pee Gonzales “Jaypee” Dela Cruz. In Season 14, Smart Omega’s Andrew Lew “Andoryuuu” Flora, was declared the category winner.
The Infinix All-Star Team 1 and BPI All-Star Team 2 consist of standout players, with Team 1 featuring the highest performers and Team 2 including additional top players. The selection is based on individual stats, impact in games, and overall contribution to their teams, with each award highlighting excellence within specific roles.
