Make way for the new breed of Tigers, who made the returning Davao Occiddental team more ferocious in the MPBL Sixth Season.

Behind James Martinez, Kenneth Ighalo and Bibioy Enguio, all recruited a few weeks before the start of the league’s new season, the Tigers posted their third straight win following an 82-66 bashing of Muntinlupa at the Batangas City Coliseum.

Host team Batangas City-Tanduay and Biñan also hurlded their respective rivals on Wednesday night.

The Rum Masters inflicted Rizal Xentro Mall its first loss of the season with a 70-63 triumph.

Using their advantage up front, the Rum Masters pounced their might inside, scoring 38 points, 20 points more than the Golden Coolers, who absorbed their first defeat after five games.

Batangas City also grabbed 48 rebounds compared to only 33 for Rizal.

Levi Hernandez stole the spotlight on offense with 15 points while also pulling down seven boards.

Biñan barely broke a sweat in beating Imus, 84-67.
