Fnatic ONIC PH rules MPL Philippine Season 14 as league hits record-breaking viewership

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 14 has successfully concluded and crowned new kings, Fnatic ONIC PH (FNOP).

The team emerged victorious in a nail-biting best-of-seven (BO7) Grand Finals against Aurora MLBB (RORA), held at the Green Sun Hotel, Makati.

With a score of 4:3, FNOP edged out RORA to get the title as the strongest MPL PH esports team in the Philippines. FNOP takes home the biggest share of the prize pool worth USD 150,000 or over PHP 8.7 million.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Tony Senedrin and Assistant Coach Jeniel Bata-anon, FNOP, featuring Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez, Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez, Jan "Kirk" Gutierrez, Borris "Brusko" Parro, Duane "Kelra" Pillas, and Brian "Spider-Milez" Santos, displayed remarkable dominance throughout Season 14.

Despite losing only one match during the entire season to Smart Omega in the regular season, FNOP proved their strength with a commanding performance in the playoffs.

Kelra was declared Grand Finals MVP after delivering a stellar performance that propelled the team to the championship, securing the most prestigious title of the season.

Both FNOP and RORA will have the honor of representing the Philippines in the upcoming M6 World Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this December. This marks another milestone for Kelra of FNOP, as he returns to the international stage after his last global appearance at MLBB Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2021.

The M6 World Championship, the world’s biggest and most prestigious MLBB esports tournament, will feature 16 top teams from across the globe and an increased prize pool of USD 1 million.

The action-packed Grand Finals day recorded MPL Philippines' highest peak concurrent viewership (PCV) in history at 1,595,994, according to analytics partner Esports Charts.
