General Santos City, Sarangani and Biñan posted easy wins at the resumption of the Maharkika Pilipinas Basketball League 2025n Season at the Wes Arena in Valenzuela.
Sarangani finally cracked the win column, this after dumping home team Valenzuela, 102-93, as Rev Diputado scattered 18 markers.
Jeymark Mallari also came away important baskets in the fourth period, hitting eight of his 22 points, that stabilized Sarangani’s first win in eight games. It was the fifth setback in eight games for Valenzuela.
Kyle Tolentino caught fire in the fourth period where he knocked in 10 of his 18 markers to lead Gen San to a 74-64 victory over Imus.
Tolentino was virtually quiet bridging the second and third periods, but finally broke out of slump in the fourth where Gen San scored 42 fourth-quarter points.
Biñan dealt Bulacan another sound beating, winning 86-48.
The Tatak Gel pulled away at halftime, 45-22, and never looked back to register their fourth win against three losses in the round-robin elimination phase of the 30-team tournament.
