BLBA posts twin kill in Hotshots D-League

BLBA and Revilo Sports MBC pulled off contrasting victories in the Under-13 division of the Hotshots Basketball Developmental League held at the PACE Academy Gym in Talayan, Village Quezon City on Saturday.

Led by Nygel Bote, who played a brilliant all-around game, BLBA outplayed Tyro Basketball, 51-35.

Bote had a near double-double performance as he finished with 18 points on top of nine steals while also picking up five rebounds and dishing out three assists.

Revilo Sports MBC outlasted Go Hard Basketball, 38-30, with Augustus Villanueva leading the way with 14 points.

BLBA made it a twin kill on Saturday as its 12-under squad also won its match.

Elijah Escoto and Astinos Santos combined forces to help BLBA in repulsing the hard-fighting Sibol team, 31-29.

But Sibol got some measure of revenge as its younger squad playing in the 10-under squad had an easier time winning over Skilled Hoops, 39-19.

Genesis proved to be too much as its 14-under team clobbered Skilled Hoops, 90-31.

But Chewsarap PACE 15-under deprived Genesis a chance of a double celebration by posting a 47-38 triumph.

Completing the day of victors was Jets Basketball, which waylaid Skilled Hoops U-11, 62-44.
