Gabby Espinas and the rest of the Caloocan Supremos led from start to finish to win over CV Siniloan in a dominant fashion, 116-93, in the PSL President’s Cup just recently at the Filoil-EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
A former Rookie/MVP in the NCAA and a multiple-time champion in the PBA, Espinas spearheaded the Supremos’ onslaught as he led five players finishing in double figures.
Espinas pumped in 18 points as he made all but one of his nine attempts from the field while also pulling down seven boards for Caloocan, which picked up back-to-back victories under new coach Ronnie Dojillo.
Jeramer Cabanag and Romel Calahat contributed 14 points apiece while Paul Sanga added 12 and Achie Inigo chipped in 10 for the Supremos, who took advantage of their solid inside game where they scored 70 points, 46 points more than their rivals.
Caloocan also showed its superb bench support as its second stringers produced 68 points compared to only 41 for CV Siniloan.
