Orlan Wamar bailed out the Kings from the jaws of defeat, as he hit a backbreaking triple that hit the window before going in and put the Kings up front, 81-75, with still 1:26 left in the match. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The shifty guard capped his heroics by setting up Zach Huang for another trey and brought the curtains down on the hard-fighting Mustangs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By winning their 15th win in 17 games, the Kings fortified their hold of solo third spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MisOr dropped to 10th spot with an 8-8 win-loss record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
San Juan squandered a 14-point lead posted midway the third period as the Mustangs kept on coming back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite missing the services of ace point guard Rudy Lingganay, the Mustangs were able to tie the game courtesy of Reynel Hugnatan’s basket in the 3:12 mark of the final quarter before Wamar, Huang and Michael Calisaan out away their rivals for good with timely baskets down the stretch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Calisaan posted yet another double-double performance with 13 points and 11 boards while Dexter Maiquez presided on the team’s offense with 16 markers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
