The Capitals dumped IT Depot x Tela Athletics, 70-60, after the former\u00a0 jumped the gun early, posting a 44-24 half time lead and never looked back despite getting a last-minute resistance from in the latter stretch of the match.<\/p>\n
Leading the charge for the Capitals was Romeo Almerol, who was rock-solid on both ends of the court. He finished the game with 19 points on a steady 8-of-012 shooting from the field, while also pulling down eight boards for the Arnold Oliveros-mentored squad.<\/p>\n
The Saints, on the other hand, survived a late scare from FMC Cura Industries before preserving a 71-66 triumph.<\/p>\n
Ronald Hawkins scattered 16 markers as he injected energy for the Saints, who also controlled the game right from the get-go, but held steadier in outlasting the late rally put up by their rivals.<\/p>\n
