SINGAPORE—MOONTON Games today announced that NARUTO will be coming to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) soon. This landmark collaboration will unite one of the world’s most beloved anime series with one of the world’s most popular mobile games.
Lyn Xi, Naruto Collaboration Lead at MOONTON Games, said: “For over two decades, NARUTO has inspired generations with its themes of perseverance, friendship, and chasing one’s dreams. Many of us grew up with NARUTO, so this collaboration is a deeply personal one. We are honored to bring the ninja spirit to the Land of Dawn and celebrate NARUTO’s enduring legacy with our community.”
NARUTO is a globally renowned Japanese manga created by Masashi Kishimoto. First serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump in 1999, the series ended in 2014 after 700 chapters. NARUTO follows main character, Naruto Uzumaki, a ninja overcoming deadly battles with rivals and past connections to become Hokage, the head of the Hidden Leaf Village. The manga is popular all over the world, with more than 250 million copies in circulation across more than 60 regions worldwide.
The partnership continues MOONTON Games’ publishing strategy of bringing global entertainment franchises into MLBB to provide its millions of players worldwide with fresh and engaging content. The mobile Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game’s recent crossovers include iconic anime series such as Attack on Titan, Hunter x Hunter, and Jujutsu Kaisen; movie franchises like Kung Fu Panda, Star Wars, and Transformers’ game franchises such as The King of Fighters; sporting icons like Neymar Jr; and even a motorcycle brand in Ducati.
Lyn added: “MLBB and NARUTO share the same ability—to bring people together. We are excited to unite both fanbases by giving gamers and anime enthusiasts a new way to have fun!”
