Change Of Plans | No Clark as Bossing scramble to find replacement import

Cameron Clark won’t be suiting up for the Blackwater Bossing, after all.

Team owner Dioceldo Sy confirmed this to Pinoystep.com, stating that the former PBA import who suited up for NLEX and San Miguel Beer had a chance of heart.

“No more. He changed his mind at the last minute. May family problem,” wrote Sy via Messenger.

Sy said his brother, Silliman Sy, Blackwater’s representative to the PBA board, is currently working on the next guy who’ll come up, including the flight details of the replacement import of Ricky Ledo, who was sent home owing to injury he suffered in the team’s first game.

“We’re still working on it,” added Sy.

According to Sy, the replacement import requested a 4 p.m. flight (Monday) from San Antonio, hoping that he’ll arrive in the Philippines by Wednesday.

Sy didn’t disclose the identity of the import, but they’re hoping to bring in a reinforcement that is quite similar to the playing style of a young Justin Brownlee.
