The arrival of “Emak EVOS” in MPL ID Season 13 is clear proof that esports tournaments are not limited to young people only. Mutihana Boru Sitepu managed to attract the attention of MPL ID audiences, and gave tips to parents who limit their children in playing games.
Currently, playing games still has a stigma, especially among parents. It’s still viewed as a bad thing when children play games too much, and it should only be done as temporary entertainment.
Emak Evos has a different view on this matter. She sees the positive aspects of gaming and believes that children who play games should be supported. Despite the negative perceptions ingrained in the minds of parents, they may not realize that children who play games can achieve international success and even earn money.
“In my opinion, if (gaming) is positive, let’s support the children. Don’t forbid them. We don’t know that playing games can make them world champions, can earn them money. So, for mothers out there, if your child wants to play games, try to give permission. However, in a positive manner,” said Emak Evos.
Emak EVOS also shared how she, a mother no longer young, became interested in MLBB Esports competitions. It all started with her son, Michael, who became part of the EVOS Fam first.
Frequently accompanying her son to watch EVOS matches, Mutihana became enthusiastic about supporting the White Tiger in every tournament. The name Emak EVOS is now known throughout the EVOS Fam, giving her a reputation of her own, and always sought after by the community.
“If mom doesn’t come, they’ll surely ask. Where’s mom, is mom coming or not, bro,” Michael said.
Mutihana herself is a little puzzled as to why she’s still involved in things like this at her age, but she’s not ashamed to continuously support EVOS and show her true expressions.
The moment Emak EVOS cried after EVOS’ defeat in MPL ID Season 13 serves as real evidence that there’s no age limit to enjoying MLBB Esports matches. In conclusion, Emak EVOS wishes, “May Evos rise again, more champions, more spirited, more united, and bring back the world championship.”
