Davao Occidental relied on its magnificent seven to totally outplay NKT, 114-80, in the PSL President’s Cup just recently at the Filoil-EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

Top gun Justin Sanchez once again presided in the offense of Davao Occidental as he pumped in 20 points, to go along with six rebounds, three assists and three steals.
He was able to draw ample support from six other players who scored 10 points or more for the Tigers, who just picked up their eighth win in 12 games.
Theo Joshua Flores contributed 15 points and five rebounds, Winston Ynot provided the spark off the bench and tallied 13 markers.
Joseph Marquez missed a rebound away from posting a double-double performance as he wound up with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Kelly Nabong came away with 11 and Michael Canete and James Una had 10 apiece in a dominating performance for the Tigers, who scored 76 points inside the shaded lane, 44 more than their rivals.
Davao Occidental also produced 72 points from players coming off the bench, which were 22 points more than NKT.
The Tigers also had more points on fast breaks, 38-10, and grabbed more rebounds, 60-47.
