San Juan banked on its young guns once more as the Kings outplayed San Pedro Pablo Escobets, 98-64, in the PSL President’s Cup recently at the Paco Arena.
John Martin Galinato presided on offense while Mike Malonzo took care of business in rebounding as the Kings showed domination in almost all departments.
Galinato finished with 17 points to lead the way for San Juan, which shot 46% (39-of-84) compared to the 31% (24-of-76) of San Pedro.
Malonzo led his team’s activity in rebounding as he grabbed 11 boards to go along with his eight markers.
San Juan’s bench depth was also very much evident as it produced 57 points, 21 more than its counterpart.
The Kings also asserted their dominance on inside scoring, 48, as against only 34 for the Pabo Escobets.
