Resilient Mustangs pick up 4 in a row, waylay Dragons  

MisOr vented its ire on CV Siniloan, 101-84, to continue its roll in the PSL President’s Cup Saturday at the Caloocan Sports Complex.

Rudy Lingganay, one of the key additions in the team, sparked the Mustangs’ onslaught bridging the second and third periods as the team picked up its fourth straight win.

The Mustangs improved their record to 5-4 and moved over the .500 win-loss mark for the first time.   

Lingganay proved to be a valuable addition.

A former Most Valuable Player in the PBA D-League, Lingganay flirted with a triple-double performance. He pumped in 22 points, dished out 13 assists and grabbed seven rebounds in a spectacular showing.

Jayvee dela Cruz also added 22 markers, Kobe Monje contributed 16, Edcel Mag-isa posted double-double numbers of 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Mustangs of coach JR Cawaling.

Rebounding has been the primary strength of MisOr, which also got a slid effort from Kint Ariar.

Ariar grabbed 13 rebounds and led the Mustangs’ activity on crashing the boards.

MisOr pulled down 55 rebounds, eight more than its rival.
