Lance Ronquillo, University of Santo Tomas high school team’s lead point guard, has committed to play for San Sebastian in the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s Centennial Season.
Ronquillo was a co-captain of the Tiger Cubs in the UAAP where he averaged nine points, five assists and three steals per game and steered the squad to a Final Four run in the season just passed.
He was also appointed by his ball club as skipper in the recent NBTC National Finals, helping the Tiger Cubs to qualify in the most prestigious event participated by the best and the finest youth players all over the country and drew participation from promising Pinoy players based overseas.
Known as ‘The Stabilizer’, Ronquillo will provide a steady presence in the backcourt once he plays for the Stags.
